Description:
Students will form groups of 5. Each group will appoint a leader, a secretary, a time-keeper, a collector and a motivator. The roles are as follows:

a) Leader - to keep the discussion on track and to lead the discussion of the group.
b) Secretary - to write / type down the discussion points and be responsible for typing in the group's entry.
c) Time-keeper - to remind the group of the time scheduled for a particular activity.
d) Collector - to collect whatever materials that the teacher hands out.
e) Motivator - to get the group motivated in accomplishing their task when faced with an obstacle in their research.
Teacher will first use PPT to present the scope of the day's activity and the objective of the exercise. Groups will be assigned and roles be decided within the group itself.
When students are settled down in their groups, the teacher will brief them on the specifics of the task at hand.
Each group is to visit a wiki /blog page to look at four sources (groups might be assigned to start with different sources so that most sources would have been covered if time ran out) which have been selected for this exercise. Students will then use the handout provided to analyze each source in detail. From the sources provided, students will eventually infer the reasons for conflict.
Group will eventually decide which cause is the most fundemental for the continuation of conflict in NI.
This will be consoldiated under the Group evaluation page of a wiki / comment under a group evaluation post.
